Sierra is a co-founder and lead dancer of Destroyers of Dance, an HBCU style alumni dance team based in Memphis. Sierra travels nationally as a dance educator, training youth and adults in majorette, heels, and hip-hop dance styles. Her teaching style emphasizes confidence, musicality, cultural pride, and personal growth.

Marlando currently serves as the Percussion Advisor at Memphis Raleigh Egypt High School and is an active member of the Zeta Mu Chapter Summer Line for 2025. He plays with the Memphis United Drummers, is an assistant instructor with M.Y.A.I. a Wolfpac Alumni Drummer and has served as both a drummer and instructor for various jamborees.

Darious attended Jackson State University from 2010 to 2015, where he marched with the Sonic Boom of the South and served as an assistant section leader in 2012. He is a member of Tau Epsilon Nu and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and currently serves as an advisor for the Sigma Beta Club and Mu Phi Sigma.

Kayla is a percussionist, educator, and servant leader whose work is rooted in discipline, purpose, and a deep passion for music. She studied at Jackson State University where she marched with the JSU Sonic Boom of the South in the percussion section known as War and Thunder. Kayla is President of the Zeta Mu Chapter of Mu Phi Sigma National Percussion Fraternity. She is also a member of Eastern Star, Tau Epsilon Nu, and Z Phi Z. She serves as an officer for the State of Mississippi and as the percussion instructor at Hickory Ridge Middle School.

Earl is a professional dancer, flag coach, and performer. He has coached at East High School, Fairley High School, LeMoyne-Owen College, and the Memphis Mass Band. He is currently a professional dancer with the Destroyers of Dance.

Jeff is a percussion instructor at Fort Valley State University. Recently, Jeff partnered with American Drum to create his own signature drumstick, a testament to his expertise and influence in the percussion community. In addition to his work at the university, He also instructs the Atlanta All-Star Mass Band drum section.

Jasma has over 20 years of dance experience. Jasma was a proud member of the Hamilton High Stepping Majorettes, where she served as Captain during her senior year. Jasma pursued higher education at Jackson State University, and was a member of the world-renowned Sonic Boom of the South’s Prancing J-Settes where she served as Captain. Jasma is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority. She is the current Head Coach of DD4L Memphis and serves as a Lead for the Destroyers of Dance Alumni Dance Organization.

Tracey is a licensed esthetician with six years of hands-on experience and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. A proud graduate of Gould’s Academy, she is trained in skincare services designed to boost confidence and wellness. Tracey is well-equipped to teach hair and makeup techniques tailored specifically for HBCU dancers. She understands the unique demands of performance and can educate dancers on stage-ready makeup, proper skin prep, and hair styling that holds up under pressure.

Donald is a percussionist and attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he played cymbals. He later attended Jackson State University, where he played bass drum. Donald is a dedicated member of Mu Phi Sigma Percussion Fraternity, where he continues to uphold the organization’s core values of fellowship, excellence, and service through the art of percussion.

Paul Benson is a percussionist from Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Fairley High School where he marched in the band. After graduating, he received a full band scholarship to attend Jackson State University. He marched in the band and served as section leader in 2003. He is also a member of Mu Phi Sigma National Percussion Fraternity, Incorporated.

Shaun is a graduate of Hamilton High School and a seasoned percussionist with deep roots in marching band culture. With experience across stick and mallet percussion instruments, his musical foundation reflects the discipline and excellence central to HBCU band traditions. He is also an active member of Mu Phi Sigma National Percussion Fraternity, Inc., where he serves as Southeastern Regional Director, continuing his commitment to mentorship and musicianship.

Paul Woods is a professional percussionist born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Kentucky State University where he marched in the Mighty Marching Thorobred Band. Paul went on to instruct many clinics  across HBCUs while participating in various commercials and movies including Drumline, Cleveland Cavs Drumline, Beyoncé Coachella performance and touring with the hit stage play “Drumline Live”. Paul is also a proud member of the Iota Mu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity Inc.

Erik Ealy is a percussionist and community leader dedicated to empowering youth through music and mentorship. He actively supports youth development through percussion education while working to strengthen and uplift the Memphis community. Erik is a proud member of Mu Phi Sigma Percussion Fraternity and serves as a Board Member of The XII Group, helping lead community-focused initiatives. A graduate of Hamilton High School, he performed in the percussion section on quints before attending the University of Memphis. Through music, service, and leadership, Erik remains committed to creating positive change and inspiring the next generation.

Travis Pickens graduated from Fairley High School. While marching in the band, he discovered his passion for music. He was influenced by several important mentors, including Steve Potts of Tennessee State University and Tremond Moore of Fairley High School. Travis later attended Jackson State University, where he became a member of the Sonic Boom of the South. There, he performed on quints and was a member of War and Thunder. He also played vibraphone in the Jazz Band. Additionally, he is a member of the Percussion Fraternity Mu Phi Sigma.

Shaquille attended Jackson State University and participated in War N Thunder and Zildjian Phi Zildjian. He also attended Talladega College and aided in founding the percussion section Renegade Rebels . There he started his own chapter of Zildjian Phi Zildjian. Shaquille is also part of Tau Epsilon Nu, Mu Phi Sigma and Omega Psi Phi.

A dedicated and accomplished percussionist, Brian has built his career on performance, leadership, and musical excellence. His percussion journey began at Whitehaven High School, where he marched as a student and now gives back as the Percussion Instructor, mentoring and developing the next generation of musicians. Brian continued his musical career at Jackson State University, where he marched with the Sonic Boom of the South and served as Section Leader for three years. Brian has also performed on a professional level, going on tour with Drake. He is a proud member of Mu Phi Sigma National Percussion Fraternity, reflecting his dedication to brotherhood, service, and the advancement of percussion arts.

Ebony Williams-Binion trained in community dance programs across Memphis, serving as a team captain for several years. Ebony has coached at multiple schools, including Hickory Ridge Middle School, Oakhaven High School, Hamilton High School, and LeMoyne-Owen College, where she emphasized discipline, creativity, and culturally-rooted majorette technique. She later opened her own dance studio, fostering an environment known for excellence, confidence, and community. As a performer, Ebony served as Captain of FAME and continues to dance with The Destroyers of Dance. With decades of experience, she remains deeply committed to developing the next generation through leadership, artistry, and a love for dance.

Curdell graduated from Wooddale High School. He attended Jackson State University beginning was a member of the band, serving as Co–Section Leader in 2016. After leaving Jackson State University, Curdell remained active in music by participating in small local performances, alumni performances with the Memphis Mass Band, and community drumlines throughout the city, as well as with Jackson State University alumni groups. He has also performed professionally on city-to-city tours with popular artists.

Sherrod, a graduate of Hampton University, is a world-renowned sports immigration attorney. Sherrod specializes in securing his clients' visa status, including some of the greatest professional fighters in boxing and MMA, football, hockey, basketball players, and equestrians. He has also worked on behalf of franchises in the major sports leagues such as the NHL, NFL, and NBA. His professional affiliations include membership in the District of Columbia Bar Admission, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Sports Lawyers Association, and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association.

Ashalle' Huddleston is a Memphis-based dancer, choreographer, and youth mentor with a passion for performance and community impact.  In 2021, she began training in the majorette style as a member of DOD, an adult majorette team that strengthened her technique, performance quality, and understanding of the HBCU auxiliary tradition. Since then, she has worked with teams such as the Golden High Steppers, the Divas of Precision, and Mitchell High School’s Prancing Tigerettes, helping to develop dancers both technically and artistically. She also serves as the choreographer for Platinum Filmz, a local production company.

Gakhya Rhodes is a proud graduate of Whitehaven High School in Memphis, Tennessee. She is passionate about music, acting, singing, and dancing, and enjoys spending time with the people who mean the most to her. Her journey in performance began at John P. Freeman Middle School, where she served as a Flag Girl for two years and held the role of captain for one year. She continued performing at Whitehaven High School for three and a half years, where she also led as captain for a year and a half.
