Celebrating the Impact of Arts Education |
EN-RICH-MENT was recently honored in two meaningful ways. We are proud to be named the 2026 OAEA East Region Distinguished Business/Organization for Art Education by the Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA). A heartfelt thank you to the OAEA for this honor, and to everyone who has championed arts education alongside us!
We are also celebrating our founder, Betty Smith, recipient of the Doris Wilson Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of more than 30 years of service, and community impact! A lifelong advocate for youth and the arts, Betty's dedication has transformed countless lives throughout Stark County and beyond. Betty will be honored on Thursday, June 25 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Canton, Ohio. Congratulations, Miss Betty! |

| Support EN-RICH-MENT's Mission All Year: Introducing Our New Mission Sponsorship Package
We're thrilled to unveil a fresh way to support the work of EN-RICH-MENT: our 2026 Mission Sponsorship Package. This is a year-round investment that replaces the traditional Gala sponsorship while preserving all the perks our partners value most, including complimentary gala tickets and name recognition.
Mission Sponsorship goes far beyond a single event. It gives your company the opportunity to make a stronger, more meaningful impact year-round by supporting our mission to empower and uplift youth, families, and communities through access to education, arts, health, and life skills every day, while deepening your visibility and connection to the community. |

Celebrating Student Success |
We're proud to celebrate EN-RICH-MENT student Kyree Lisbon, who is featured on this month's cover of Uniquely You Magazine!
The article shares Kyree's inspiring journey from a quiet young boy struggling to connect with the world around him to an accomplished percussionist, student leader, and role model. Through the support of his family, mentors, and EN-RICH-MENT's music programs, Kyree discovered a passion for drumming that helped him build confidence, friendships, and a brighter future. |
Kyree's story is a powerful reminder of how the arts can help young people find their voice, purpose, and confidence. We couldn't be prouder of all he has accomplished! Read the full story here. We also recognize our students of the semester; two students who embodied the spirit of EN-RICH-MENT this past semester, showing up with curiosity and commitment.
Student of the Semester Israel, Ages 5-8 | He is a natural leader in class, always lending a hand and modeling a strong work ethic. Israel practices independently at home and at EN-RICH-MENT, and he brings deep compassion and empathy to everything he does. |
Student of the Semester Nalah, Ages 9-18 | Dependable, hardworking, and deeply caring, Nalah brings consistent dedication to every task; from classroom clean-up to rehearsing for two performing ensembles. Her commitment to growing as both an artist and a person makes her a joy to celebrate. |

Donor Spotlight: The Christ Foundation |
EN-RICH-MENT is deeply grateful to The Christ Foundation for its generous $50,000 grant, which supported our programs and operations from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026. This funding helped provide arts education opportunities for local youth while also covering essential operating expenses, including utilities, support that is often difficult for nonprofits to secure. |
The grant also supported the people who help make our mission possible every day. Funding contributed to the salary of receptionist Cierenna Terrell, pictured here, who welcomed students and families, assisted with registration, and helped connect youth with classes that matched their interests and abilities. The grant also supported facility maintenance and teaching artist salaries in visual arts, dance, and music, helping ensure a safe, welcoming environment where students could learn, create, and grow.
We are sincerely thankful to The Christ Foundation for investing in EN-RICH-MENT and the young people we serve. Their partnership made a meaningful difference in our community, and we are honored by their support. |
